Welcome to DramMaster. By accessing or using our whisky education platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use our service.

These terms apply to all users of the site, including visitors, registered users, and contributors.

To access certain features, you may need to create an account:

• Accurate Information: You agree to provide truthful and current information when registering.
• Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• Age Requirement: You must be of legal drinking age in your jurisdiction to use DramMaster.
• One Account: Each user may only have one account unless otherwise authorized.

DramMaster is provided free of charge. We reserve the right to introduce premium features in the future, but the core educational content will remain free.

We may display advertising or partner with sponsors to sustain the platform, but this will not compromise the quality or integrity of our educational content.

Isla, our AI whisky mentor, is an educational tool designed to help you learn about Scotch whisky:

• Educational Only: Isla provides information for learning purposes and should not be considered professional advice.
• Not Medical Advice: Isla cannot provide health, medical, or alcohol consumption advice. Drink responsibly.
• Accuracy: While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated responses may occasionally contain errors. Always verify critical information.
• Exam Prep: Isla can help you study, but passing certification exams depends on your own effort and understanding.

Our Content: All lessons, articles, flashcards, and other educational content on DramMaster are owned by DramMaster or licensed to us. You may use this content for personal educational purposes but may not reproduce, distribute, or sell it without permission.

Your Content: If you submit content (e.g., user-generated flashcards, comments), you grant DramMaster a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute that content on the platform.

Third-Party Content: Some distillery information, images, and data may be sourced from third parties. We respect intellectual property rights and will remove content if properly notified of infringement.

You agree not to:

• Use DramMaster for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
• Violate any laws in your jurisdiction (including intellectual property laws).
• Transmit viruses, malware, or any code of a destructive nature.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or user accounts.
• Scrape, crawl, or automatically download content without permission.
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users.
• Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely state your affiliation with DramMaster.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

DramMaster is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied:

• No Guarantee: We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
• Educational Tool: DramMaster is a learning platform. We are not responsible for exam results, career outcomes, or personal decisions made based on content from the site.
• Alcohol Consumption: We promote responsible drinking. You are solely responsible for your alcohol consumption decisions.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, DramMaster, its owners, and contributors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless DramMaster from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the platform, your violation of these terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.

DramMaster may contain links to third-party websites (e.g., distillery websites, whisky retailers). We are not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of these external sites. Use them at your own risk.

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or a site announcement. Continued use of DramMaster after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to DramMaster at any time, for any reason, including violation of these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the service will immediately cease.

You may delete your account at any time by contacting us or using the account deletion feature if available.

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United Kingdom.

1. Definitions: “Founder Member” means users who purchase a Founder Member (Lifetime) subscription. “Service” means DramMaster.

2. Benefits:

• Access to Pro-tier features as available at purchase and subsequently developed
• Founder Member badge on profile
• Direct feedback channel to product development team
• Feature voting rights on upcoming development
• Early access to new features before general availability
• Founder pricing locked — price will not increase

3. Lifetime Access: “Lifetime” means as long as the Service operates. If the Service is permanently discontinued, you will receive 90 days written notice and either a pro-rata refund (based on a 5-year assumed lifespan) or equivalent successor service access. Founder Member status is non-transferable and cannot be resold, transferred, or shared.

4. Payment and Refunds: Founder Member subscriptions require a single one-time payment. This payment is non-refundable after 14 days, in accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. Within 14 days, a full refund is available if the Service has not been used beyond initial setup. Refund requests should be sent to our support email.

5. Feature Availability: Your subscription includes Pro features available at purchase plus future Pro additions. New premium tiers above Pro are not automatically included, but discounted upgrade offers will be provided. We reserve the right to modify, add, or remove features.

6. Account Conduct: Founder Members are subject to the same acceptable use policies as all accounts. Abuse of feedback, voting, or early access privileges may result in removal of those benefits (though not core Pro access). Automated or programmatic abuse may result in rate limiting.

7. Termination: We may terminate Founder Member access for material breach, with written notice and a 14-day cure period. Voluntary cancellation does not entitle you to a refund.

8. Governing Law: This programme is governed by the laws of England and Wales.
