🔥 Talisker Unveils 47-Year-Old "Magma" Finished with Volcanic Rock

Talisker has released one of its oldest ever expressions: Talisker Magma 47-Year-Old. Distilled in 1978 and finished in new oak casks toasted with volcanic rock from Skye instead of traditional flames — a first for the distillery. The result? A dram where smoke, minerality, and spice intertwine with toffee sweetness and Talisker's signature chili-pepper warmth. Just 622 bottles worldwide, priced around £4,200. The bottle itself is made from 100% recycled glass, shifting from clear to deep black, echoing Skye's lava-meets-sea coastline. One for collectors and lovers of experimental maturation.
