Scotch Old Fashioned

Ingredients

• ["50ml blended Scotch whisky"
• "1 sugar cube or 10ml simple syrup"
• "2-3 dashes Angostura bitters"
• "Orange peel"]

Method

1. 1Add sugar/simple syrup and bitters to a mixing glass or directly to the rocks glass; muddle or stir to dissolve sugar. Add Scotch whisky and fill with ice. Stir well (about 20-30 seconds) until chilled and diluted. Strain into a rocks glass over a large ice cube. Express orange peel oils over the drink by twisting, then drop in.
